Homeschooling Teens
Welcome to the exciting world of homeschooling through high school! My husband and I have homeschooled our four four boys from kindergarten into college, and I’ve learned a few things along the way. Transcripts Made Easy: The Homeschooler’s Guide to High School Paperwork and Get a Jump Start on College! A Practical Guide for Teens. My newest project, Excellence in Literature: Reading and Writing Through the Classics, a self-directed, college-prep, literature-based English curriculum for grades 8-12 was completed in 2010.
There are so many wonderful things you can do if you choose to homeschool your teens. I hope to share things that will help you catch the vision of what a joyous adventure homeschooling through high school can be! I’ll share exciting opportunities you can explore in many areas, including:
- literature
- writing
- microbusiness
- entrepreneurship
- travel
- early college
- college alternatives
- talent development
- and more!
We made some of these things happen in our family, so I’ll share a few stories and resources, and I’d love to hear about what your family has done. The essential thing to remember about homeschooling through the teen years is that if you focus on things that really matter, you’ll not only have many happy memories, but your teens will have a solid foundation to build their lives upon. Enjoy this precious opportunity!

Hi, I'm Janice Campbell, and I'm glad you're here! I invite you to join me in focusing on things that matter- family, literacy, creativity, growth, and service. It's so easy to be entangled by the mundane, but it doesn't have to happen.
